How to Request Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Dream Recharge account and all associated personal data through the in-app Help & Support live chat. There is no public email address — Dream Recharge handles all support requests inside the App.
- Open the Dream Recharge app and log in to your account.
- Go to Profile → Help & Support.
- Start a new chat and send the message: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include your registered 10-digit mobile number in the chat.
- Our team verifies the request and deletes your account within 30 days.
- You will receive a confirmation notification once deletion is complete.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account deletion is processed, the following personal data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, profile photo)
- Your MPIN and device FCM token
- Your support chat history
- Your RC Verification, Bank Account Finder, and UPI Finder lookup history
- Your saved preferences and app settings
Data Retained for Legal Compliance
Certain records must be retained in anonymized form even after account deletion, as required by Indian financial and tax regulations:
- Transaction records — retained for up to 7 years.
- Tax invoices — retained as required by GST rules.
- Fraud / dispute records — retained where legally necessary.
These retained records are stripped of direct personal identifiers and cannot be linked back to you.
Important Notes
Account deletion is permanent. Once processed, your account cannot be recovered. Please note down any transaction history you may need before requesting deletion.
Wallet Balance
Any remaining wallet balance is forfeited upon voluntary account deletion. Please use your wallet balance before requesting deletion.
Processing Time
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification.
Re-Registration
After deletion you may register a new account using the same mobile number, but previous history, wallet balance, and referral data will not be restored.
